Here is my selection of beautiful beaches in Goa :
1. Cola beach, South Goa
Cola beach, maybe the most beautiful of Goa has a difficult access but it’s so worth it. Very nice quiet beach with a sweet lake where you can swim or rent a kayak! Some beach huts as well.
2. Honeymoon beach, South Goa
Small but very nice, Honeymoon beach is only accessible by boat. You can do a dolhpin trip from Palolem beach to go there.
3. Palolem beach, South Goa
Palolem is a beautiful beach with colorful beach huts. Agonda, not so far away is similar but more quiet.
4. Benaulim beach, South Goa
Benaulim is a beautiful quiet beach with soft white sand. You can walk North until Colva also, which a bit more crowded since it’s the closest beach to Margao city.
5. Arambol beach, North Goa
Arambol, is a famous hippie beach. Very long and large, you will see lots of people doing yoga or meditating facing the sun. Don’t miss the drum circle every night around sunset time, next to Pacha. And along the beach, you will find many artists selling their creations and people practicing acro-yoga and juggling.
You can walk South to Mandrem for a more quiet atmosphere. But I also advice you to walk North following an easy pathway after the rocks to go to Sweet Lake beach, very quiet and beautiful.
6. Keri beach, North Goa
Keri beach is the most Northern beach of Goa. Very quiet, very few people.
7. Ashvem beach, North Goa
8. Vagator beach, North Goa
Vagator beach is very nice. It is separated in two sections: vagator and little vagator. There is a good view from the parking lot and access to both beaches. You can also go to Chapora Fort for beautiful views.
9. Candolim beach, North Goa
Candolim beach has many people but it’s a relax beach with lots of beach shacks. It is clean with soft sand, ideal to chill on a sunbed with a fruit juice or cocktail.
10. Anjuna beach, North Goa
Anjuna beach is very beautiful and it’s nice to watch the cows walking around. Be careful when you swim, there are lots of rocks. At the end of the beach, every wednesday, there is the flea market.
